What you will learn with YD Driving Classes

You will learn how to avoid fuel costs with good tire pressure. Tire pressure can affect how much gas your vehicle uses. Check your tire pressure at least once a month for the best balance between grip and fuel economy. Your vehicle's tire pressure information can be found in the door, in the glove box, or in your owner's manual. Drive safe and save gas money.

Don't stop and ask for driving directions, Plan Your Route!

You can get the best fuel economy between 50 km/h and 80 km/h. Plan your route on roads within this range if you can. Listen to traffic reports on the TV or radio and avoid heavy traffic, collisions and construction. Have a safe and easy drive to work.

Become a Gentle Driver, Leave space and save gas money

Tailgating is not always a party. If you are not able to avoid Stop N Go traffic, leave space in front and behind your vehicle so that you can drive safely and save on gas. By braking early when traffic comes to a stop, and accelerating slowly when you start to go, you can maintain your vehicle and not waste gas.
