Welcome to Young Drivers Trenton. Our modern, air-conditioned classroom is located at 290 Dundas St West (Unit 1B). We are located at the corner of Catherine St and Dundas St West (Hwy #2). We are approximately halfway between the downtown core and Walmart. We are in the same building as Brighter Smiles Dental Hygiene Clinic. Our classroom is at the back of the building on the lower level.

We welcome all students, young and young at heart, from Quinte West, Brighton, Carrying Place, Campbellford, … Pickup for in car lessons will be arranged within the original Trenton city limits.

Young Drivers Trenton Defensive Driving Courses

Welcome to Young Drivers Trenton where we teach new drivers of all ages to “Drive and Survive”. We also teach licensed drivers, mature drivers and fleet drivers our Collisionfree!™ Approach to driving, as well as assist senior drivers with refresher lessons.

Young Drivers believes that accidents are predictable and preventable. Our students learn why crashes happen and how to prevent them. Among the life-saving skills taught are:

• Rear Crash Avoidance
• Gravel Shoulder recovery
• Freeway and highway driving
• Threshold / ABS / Emergency braking
• Brake and avoid techniques
• Handling adverse conditions

At Young Drivers of Canada our education experts update the YD Program annually. Driver distraction and increased traffic congestion are just a few of the changes in the driving scene in the last few years. We teach YD students the skills they need to meet the challenges of driving on today's roads.

We know the importance of continuous learning. That's why our in-class and in-car instructors are re-certified on an annual basis to ensure their knowledge is current and their skills are at the high level our customers have come to expect.

Every YD student must pass two in-class tests and two in-car evaluations to make certain they are ready to drive on their own. In the car students will be evaluated on their defensive driving skills. Also with the YD simulated road test, we help YD students get ready for the real thing thus increasing their chances of passing their road test the first time.
