Young Drivers of Canada recommends that drivers turn on low-beams during the day, even if they have Daytime Running Lights. While front DRL can make cars more visible from the front and reduce head-on collisions, there’s a dark side since because those lights are only in front, there is no added visibility from the rear ... And 33 per cent of crashes are rear-enders, according to Angelo DiCicco, General Manager of Young drivers of Canada.
