Young Drivers New Glasgow is located downtown by the bridge at 116 George Street. This places us downstairs in the lower level of the NS Legal Aid building overlooking the marina next to the Dock Restaurant. Parking is located at the town parking lot and Glasgow Square on Riverside Parkway, just up the street. From Exit 24 of the TCH 104 at the Stellarton roundabout take the road toward New Glasgow downtown. At traffic light about 2km turn right on George Street across the bridge. Our classroom is on the corner to the left, door nearest the road.

Young Drivers of Canada has a philosophy when it comes to collisions, they are predictable and preventable.

What this translates to is that the majority of the consequences of a crash can be avoided, including fatalities, injuries and specifically, insurance claims. Young Drivers of Canada implements this strategy in their course curriculum by providing their Collisionfree!Ⓡ Approach to driving program.

Through this approach Young Drivers of Canada teaches its students effective seeing habits and how to predict and avoid any potential hazards experienced on a day to day basis when driving.

Young Drivers Defensive Driving Course is delivered through a variety of learning platforms

Including classroom instruction, one-on-one in-car, online cognifit training and video instruction. This varied means of teaching ensures that clients are given the skills needed to prepare them to stay free of crashes or CollisionFree!Ⓡ for the rest of their lives

Young Drivers New Glasgow programs help new drivers and experienced drivers, plus all of our courses are GDL Approved!

We may call ourselves Young Drivers but we offer courses for drivers of all ages. We offer complete courses that include the skills needed to prepare for many driving situations, instructingon low speed manoeuvres like parking and turnabouts; to faster speed manoeuvres such as emergencybraking, gravel shoulder recovery and avoidance swerving.

The new driver course consists of 25 hours of classroom theory and 11 hours of one on one in-car driving. We also offer points reduction courses and exit courses to get off the graduated licencing system. Individual lessons with our trained driving instructors are always available to improve your skills and build confidence.
